Breakfasts at La Casa Païral

A breakfast buffet

To start the day in style

Breakfast at La Casa Païral is a really special moment. Food lovers will find everything that they can possibly imagine included in the breakfast buffet and all of those who love a quiet start to the day will enjoy their peaceful breakfast under the magnolia. In our quest for high-quality products, we use local producers wherever possible.

Local pleasures at La Casa Païral

Greedy for more... locally

The figs, cherries, peaches, melons, nectarines and plums served at breakfast are all produced in our region. The olive oil is produced by the Moulin du Levant in Laroque des Albères.

The jam is made at a local centre for adults with disabilities. The marshmallow treats that are so reminiscent of our childhood are produced by Cémoi in Perpignan. In terms of the drinks we offer, our Sémillante water comes from the Milles brewery and your morning coffee is ground by Cafés Latour.

On the buffet

A dozen Dammann teas and three infusions, Serrano ham, coppa and white ham, Manchego cheese, Catalonian hard cheese, a selection of dried fruit, various cakes, a choice of cereals, various breads (sandwich bread, baguette, wholegrain, gluten-free), pancakes and French cannelé cakes (commercial, so we won’t boast about that), peanut butter, Nutella, maple syrup and cranberries, apple juice and orange juice, home-made detox water (cucumber, lemon, mint, orange) and on request: espresso, freshly-squeezed orange juice, mushrooms, eggs, sausages.

Local producers extend a warm welcome

Some of the local producers from whom Casa Païral sources its products like to open their doors to visitors and demonstrate their skills.
Roussillon Œuf in Ponteilla supplies us with eggs.
Les Ruchers de Sauvy whose honey you can sample.
Our typical “croquant” sweets are made by the Pons family of “Croquant à l’ancienne” in Collioure.
